Care Instruction

Don't cut hard things! Japanese knives are brittle so bone hacking is a NO NO!
Wash with neutral detergent after use, and wipe dry;
Please don't wash knife with dishwasher, it will damage the wood handle;
Be careful not to leave the knife close to a heat source for a long time;
It is a lot more dangerous to cut with a blunt knife than a sharp knife!
It is best to sharpen a Japanese knife regularly on a waterstone.

自從津輕藩指定製造日本刀以來，二柄鍛造廠已有350多年的歷史。

作為日本少數幾位尊貴的刀匠之一，二柄人將這門技藝傳承至今。自1965年起，刀劍製作不再作為商業項目，但焊接、錘擊等鍛造技藝至今仍在菜刀製作中傳承至今。
