Who is Yoshikazu Ikeda?

Yoshikazu Ikeda (池田美和, read いけだ よしかず) is a Sakai knife blacksmith (鍛冶) who works at his forge, Ikeda Tanrenjo (池田鍛錬所), in Sakai, Osaka, Japan.

He is recorded on Japan's national Traditional Craftsman (伝統工芸士) roster for Sakai forged cutlery (堺打刃物), which lists his certification date as 16 December 1988.
