Who is Takayuki Shibata?

Takayuki Shibata (柴田崇行) is a sharpener, brand owner, and president of IRONCLAD Ltd. (株式会社アイロンクラッド) in Fukuyama, Hiroshima. Per his own site, he left school at 15 to train as a carpenter's apprentice, worked at an ironworks, and founded Shibata Knives in 2006 before launching his brands.
